Creation Care Camp: Wild Wonder

June 16 - June 20

"What a wildly wonderful world, God! You made it all, with Wisdom at your side, made earth overflow with your wonderful creations." -Psalm 104:24 (MSG)

We are excited to offer Creation Care Camp this June for our kids!

What is Creation Care Camp?

The purpose of Creation Care Camp is to invite children to delight in God as creator, redeemer, and sustainer of all things by immersing them in the wonders of the created world. Through daily devotions, nature study, and play, children will learn that all of God's works are good and that they themselves are beloved creations.

God made a "wildly wonderful world" full of amazing creatures that delight and glorify Him. Did you know that there are one billion bacteria in a teaspoon of soil? That an octopus has three hearts? That bees do a special dance to tell each other where the best nectar can be found? These are the works of a playful and imaginative Creator. Wild Wonder is all about cultivating wonder over God's good gifts of the earth and turning that wonder into gratitude and praise.

Ways to Help

Station Leader: Each day there will be three stations. Station leaders will stay in one spot and lead the kids through messy, creative, science-y experiments, or through a period of reading and observation. Almost all stations will be outside.

General Helper: Each group of kids will need an adult to walk them around the camp stations.

A Super Cool Expert: Creation Care Camp has opportunities for different experts and professionals to share! Are you a Master Gardener? Do you work in nature? Do you enjoy environmental science? Come share with our kids about what you do!

At minimum, we need five people a day to make Creation Care Camp happen. The number of volunteers we have directly affects how many children we can open this up to. Because of the variety of sessions, you can volunteer for the whole week or just a day if you'd like to help. To sign up as a volunteer, please fill out the form below by April 11.
