MUSIC & ARTS

Director of Music leading the church in a hymn

The music and arts ministries of Highland Hills include everyone.

From congregational singing, to a variety of voices sharing in worship, and even visual arts, our worship is at its best when we all share our gifts together to worship the Lord.

Our Sunday morning worship services consist of traditional hymns accompanied by the pipe organ, choral music presented by the Sanctuary Choir, and occasional solos, quartets, ensembles and instrumental music.

The Sanctuary Choir

The Sanctuary Choir of Highland Hills has an expansive repertoire of music that they sing on Sunday mornings including classical, gospel, contemporary, and spiritual anthems.

They also sing a major work or cantata each Christmas and Easter. The Sanctuary Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.

The Visual Arts

We have a history of valuing beauty and celebrating the ways God has created beauty in our world.

We believe that the visual arts can be a meaningful form of worship whether through creation or contemplation. Our worship arts team creates worshipful tablescapes for certain services. You'll often find art displayed throughout our hallways for a holy season or to celebrate the work of a local artist.
