About the event
On February 26, the Wednesday night meal and program will be a little different. The HHBC Ugandan Mission Team will host a fundraiser by preparing traditional Ugandan cuisine and a program on Uganda. The normal Family Night Supper fee will go toward the trip, plus any additional gifts you give.
This is a great opportunity to learn about the mission trip and the Ugandan culture. The meal is not that different from what we normally eat and will consist of stew, bread, and a plantain dish. There are rumors that fried grasshoppers will be on offer. To raise the stakes, the more you donate toward the trip, the fewer grasshoppers you will need to eat!
